Buddy “L” toys were first manufactured by the Moline Pressed Steel Company, Moline, Illinois, in 1921, and were named after the son of the owner Fred Lundahl. Lundahl had started the company to manufacture auto and truck parts but he made a few specialty items for his son, Buddy. Buddy’s friends began to ask for similar toys and so Lundahl eventually went into the toy business.
This Buddy L Raggedy Ann & Andy Camper is in good condition but has been well played with. The decals on the sides are in tact and the wheels are in working condition. There is some paint missing from the top but the orange plastic bottom is in good shape. A fun addition to any collection.
