Tonka toys began production in the basement of a small schoolhouse in Mound, Minnesota, a suburb of Minneapolis, MN. The first toys were produced in 1947.
This Tonka Army jeep is brown with white lettering. It is in good condition with the decals (number G-2-2431 & a star) on the hood still in tact. The body of the jeep is all metal with the seats & back end made of white plastic. This jeep has white wall tires and a windshield that flips up & down. Original paint.
