"A man, a tractor and the wide open road" Dewey Brooks and his promise that he kept for his Dad.

This is the letter from the family:

Dear Rylee and Lonna,

Thank you for sending your newspaper. You did a great job on the story. I met many nice folks on the journey. I only got rained on three times. i laughed to myself, what is the thrill in staying dry? The old John Deere used only $405 in fuel. I got home June 1 in the afternoon. I am trying to convince one of my children, Aaron, Brendan, Andrea, and Bethany to have a rerun when Mount Rushmore and the tractor hit the age of 100 years old. No success yet!! I enjoyed Murdo in my stay. This was my fourth visit to the Pioneer Auto Museum. That is a great place!

Thank you Dewey for stopping! We hope you and your kids come by and see us again!
